The other week we went skiing. But during our preparations to leave the first morning, my wife asks me: “Did you see the colors outside?” I look out the window and see this marvelous sunrise. I don’t waste a second, since we’re in such a rush anyway, and I jump in the car and drive two minutes to this spot. It’s a place we often come to when fishing or skipping rocks etc.
In a record time of an additional two minutes, I run around (even taking some risks on the ice… but it wasn’t too deep) and quickly get these shots. If you have any favorite let me know, cause I’m going to choose one for my catalog.
Isn’t it wonderful to have mother nature meet you like this in the morning? It was the best way for me to greet the new day – even if it only lasted a few minutes. That was enough.
